In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the Notice of the China National Intellectual Property Administration on the Implementation of the Measures for the Administration of Priority Examination of Patents and further improve the convenience of the patent business handling system, the web page and client of the patent business handling system will be updated at 0:00 on September 1, 2026. The details are as follows:

1. According to the newly revised "Measures for the Administration of Patent Priority Examination", relevant business functions have been adjusted, mainly including: firstly, adjusting the content of priority examination business filling in the web version of the patent business processing system; The second is to optimize the process of re examination and priority examination of invalid business, and adjust the relevant business processing entrance to the "Patent Affairs Service" module of the patent business processing system web version.

2. Optimize the declaration check function for changes in recorded items and update the declaration content.

3. Add the function of scanning and uploading the general power of attorney when filling in the general power of attorney number in the new application or procedure handling documents.

4. Add relevant information such as the Bahamas (BS) as a PCT member state and PCT receiving office.

5. Improve the SMS and email reminder service functions for legal entity users (refer to Part III System Operation Questions Q11 in the "Common Technical Questions and Answers for Patent Business Processing System Users" for relevant precautions).

After 00:00 on September 1, 2026, users of the web version of the patent business processing system can directly log in to the system to use the above functions. Users of the patent business processing system client can upgrade to the new version of the client according to the system prompts, or visit the "Patent Business Processing System Home Page - Tool Download - Patent Business Processing System Client" column to download the latest installation package or update package of the client for client upgrade (version 1.1.10).
