Recently, the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) announced the results of the 26th China Patent Award. Shenzhen secured a total of 60 China Patent Awards, including 5 Patent Gold Awards, 3 Patent Silver Awards, 3 Industrial Design Gold Awards and 46 Patent Excellence Awards — with its gold awards accounting for roughly one-fifth of the national total, once again underscoring Shenzhen's hardcore innovation strength.

Following the announcement, Shenzhen TV's Shenzhen News interviewed Zhang Quanwen, Chairman of ZYIP, on this year's results. Mr. Zhang believes that the continued success of Shenzhen enterprises in the China Patent Award is a vivid reflection of the city's all-round improvement in "high-value patent creation." He pointed out that high-quality patents stem not only from enterprises' long-term investment in R&D, but also from Shenzhen's sound IP protection ecosystem. In this year's gold-winning projects, Shenzhen accounted for 20% of the total, with the overall quality of patents remaining at a high level. These high-value patents will serve as solid IP barriers and core competitive advantages in the enterprises' future pursuit of high-quality development.
The continuous emergence of high-value patents in Shenzhen is equally underpinned by professional IP service institutions. As a representative of Shenzhen's homegrown IP service sector, ZYIP also delivered an outstanding performance in this year's awards — the patents it prosecuted won 1 China Patent Gold Award and 5 China Patent Excellence Awards. Notably, A Neural Network Processor and Its Control Method, drafted by ZYIP for IntelliFusion, was honored with the China Patent Gold Award, placing the company at the top of the winners list alongside industry leaders such as Huawei and CGN.
As a Shenzhen-based IP service institution with over 20 years of industry experience, ZYIP is guided by its values of "integrity, steadfastness, simplicity and professionalism." With a team of nearly 400 professionals across 18 offices, its service network covers more than 200 countries and regions worldwide, and it has long served leading enterprises including Huawei, Honor and CATL. To date, patents prosecuted by ZYIP have cumulatively won 8 China Patent Gold Awards, 4 Silver Awards and 67 Excellence Awards. The firm, which once held the presidency of the Guangdong Patent Agency Association, has been named among the Top 10 IP Agencies in the Greater Bay Area and honored as "TOP IPR CHINA Industry King · Outstanding AI Patent Agency," and has received Honor's "Annual Core Partner Sincere Collaboration Award" and CATL's A-rated Agency of the Year distinction — earning wide recognition from both the industry and its clients.
Committed to professionalism and quality above all, ZYIP will continue to empower China's innovators with its professional capabilities, turning great technologies into strong rights and helping them win a stronger voice in global IP competition.
