In 2021, we undertook an infringement analysis and patent layout project for an non-invasive continuous fingertip blood pressure monitor on behalf of a client. Through technical disassembly of the existing product and global patent search and analysis of each technical branch, on the one hand, we conducted a patent technology risk assessment for the commissioned product, identified infringement risks, and designed avoidance solutions; on the other hand, we conducted new creation patent search and analysis on the innovative technical points in the commissioned product to achieve patent layout and patent application. Currently, this project has been successfully completed.
In 2020, we undertook a high-value patent cultivation project for synthetic biology under the commission of a certain client. This project involved synthetic genomics technology. However, the technical staff were unable to provide a technical disclosure document and did not know how to conduct patent layout for their own technology. Through multiple technical exchanges between our analysts, patent attorneys and the client's technical staff, we explored the technical solutions and conducted novelty searches for each solution, providing a global patent layout plan. The client was very satisfied with our patent layout plan and patent application writing. Currently, this project has been successfully completed.
In 2019, we were entrusted by a client to conduct a patent assessment project for an intelligent blood collection instrument. The client was concerned that after the product was launched, there would be competitors copying the product. Therefore, they wanted to know if the existing applied patents could protect the product. Under such circumstances, we evaluated the applied patents for this product from three aspects: the stability, avoidability, and infringement determination of the patents. This was to provide a reference basis for the client's subsequent rights protection work.
