The 12th Party Congress of Guangdong Province was unveiled on May 22. Shenzhen elements were mentioned repeatedly in the Party Congress Report. With the word “Shenzhen” mentioned for eight times, the contents are concerned with deepening of the structural reform on the supplies, implementation of innovation-driven development strategy, building of a new open-economy system and other fields.

On May 23, Shenzhen TV issued the news titled Be a Leader Re-creating New Situation-Shenzhen: Continue to Hold High the Great Banner of Reform. In the interview, Mr. Zhang Quanwen, President of Shenzhen Zhongyi Lianhe Intellectual Property Agent Limited introduced the important efforts of Futian District, Shenzhen to support enterprise development from the perspective of fund and policy.

The news stated that Shenzhen will continue to uphold the main line of structural reform on the supplies in the new period, simulate market vitality and enhance development through institutional dividends.

In the interview, the Party delegates of Shenzhen also focus on the development issues of hi-tech enterprises, and point out the future development tendency of Shenzhen enterprises. Yu Zhending, Secretary of CPC Committee of Guangming Hi-tech Park expressed that Shenzhen has made vigorous efforts in the supply-side reform. The strategic emerging industries have been developed remarkably. These industries are characterized by high added value, low energy consumption and relatively less demands for land, especially in adaption to the general trend of land resource scarcity of Shenzhen; on the supply-side reform, such hi-tech enterprises are quite significant for selection of industry direction, will steer general trend in future.

Xiao Yafei, the Secretary of the CPC Committee of Futian District expressed that the District will cooperate with all sub-funds to promote the further transformation and optimization of enterprises in Futian. Adapting to the situation, Futian District will allocate some human power, material resources and financial resources to support the development of hi-tech industries and strategic emerging industries (in particular the “small giants” with high growth and rapid division of industry), so as to focus on developing the potential SMEs and secure the sustainable development.
