A seminar between Secretary Xiao and staff of Zhongyi was held. In the seminar, Chairman Zhang Quanwen introduced the merged development of Zhongyi. After listening to Zhang Quanwen’s report, Secretary Xiao Xingwei pointed out that, at present, the national IP service industry stands at the stage of stable development and SIPO is still stepping up the construction of IP industry and striving to provide powerful support for development of institutions. SIPO puts forth efforts to resolve the problems of policy, management and regulations during the development of IP service agencies. Zhongyi is a large agency in Shenzhen. It is expected to report relevant problems to government authorities in a timely manner; at present, IP service industry lacks a flagship agency. Zhongyi is expected to continuously deepen services and enhance its service quality. Meanwhile, Zhongyi should adhere to its professional ethics and become the example and benchmark of self-discipline. As the president unit of Guangdong Patent Agency Commission, Zhongyi is expected to make a difference from the perspective of industry development and make its due contribution to enhancing the professional level of patent agency teams and the occupational quality of patent agents.
